Terms & Conditions — Jigri

1. Definitions

• User, you, your means any person who uses or accesses the App or Service.
• Content means any text, images, audio, video, messages, profile data, or other materials uploaded, posted or transmitted via the Service by users or by Us.
• Account means a user account created for you to access the Service.
• Subscriptions / In-app Purchases means any paid features, upgrades or premium offerings within the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or older, if the law in your jurisdiction requires).
• By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• We may restrict or refuse access to certain features to users based on age, location, or other criteria.

3. Account, Registration & Security

• To use certain features, you must register for an Account and provide current, accurate, complete information.
• You are responsible for protecting your login credentials (username, password, or other authentication). Do not share them.
• You agree to notify Us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account or any breach of security.
• We may suspend or terminate your Account if you violate these Terms or for security reasons.

4. Use of the Service & Content

• You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
• You are responsible for the Content you post, share, or transmit via the Service.
• You grant Us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, distribute, display, transmit, and (if needed) modify your Content to operate and provide the Service.
• You must not post or share any Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, threatening, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• You must not attempt to circumvent or interfere with security features or other users’ access.
• We may remove, reject, or restrict access to any Content or Accounts at Our discretion (e.g. if violating these Terms).

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

• If the App offers paid subscriptions, credits, tokens, or in-app purchases, you agree to pay all fees for those services, in the amounts and at the times described within the App or relevant store (e.g., Google Play).
• All payments are processed securely via third-party payment processors such as Google Play Billing.
• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees.

No Refund Policy

• All purchases, subscriptions, and payments made on Jigri are final and non-refundable.
• We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods, unused features, or accidental/involuntary purchases.
• By making a payment, you acknowledge and accept this strict No Refund Policy.
• Any exceptions (if required by law in your jurisdiction, or as per Google Play’s policies) will be handled solely through the respective platform (Google Play / App Store) and not directly by Jigri.

6. Content Moderation, Reporting & Enforcement

• We have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, review, flag, or remove any Content in our discretion.
• Users may report abusive, infringing, or inappropriate content.
• In case of conflict between users, we are not obligated to intervene beyond reasonable moderation.
• We may suspend or ban users who violate these Terms or community guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

• All rights, title and interest (including copyrights, trademarks, domain names, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights) in the Service and its content (excluding user-submitted Content) are owned by Us or our licensors.
• You agree not to copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, transmit, or exploit any portion of the Service except as expressly allowed by Us.
• If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, you may provide notice to Us (we should include a DMCA-style notice clause if required under jurisdictions).

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.
• We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of dealing.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our officers, employees, agents) are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the past 12 months, or a nominal amount (e.g. ₹1,000) if you have not paid us.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claim, demand, suit, loss, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to:

• your use or misuse of the Service;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of any rights of another party;
• your Content or any consequences thereof.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access or Account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Liability, Disclaimers) shall survive termination.

11. Governing Law, Disputes & Arbitration

• These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of [State / Country, e.g. India, the state of Karnataka or such jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules.
• Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City / State, e.g. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India].
• Alternatively, you may choose arbitration or alternative dispute resolution (you can insert an arbitration clause if you want).

12. Changes to Terms

• We may modify, add or remove portions of these Terms at any time by giving you notice (e.g. via the App, email or posting on our website).
• Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
• If you do not agree to changes, you should stop using the Service and may delete your Account.

13. Privacy

14. Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• Waiver: No waiver by Us of any breach or default shall be deemed a waiver of subsequent breaches or defaults.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights / obligations under them, except with our prior written consent.
• Notices: We may provide notices via email, push notification, or posting within the App or our website.
